More waiting, but good progress!

As I'm sure you can all imagine, this has become a grueling waiting game. Although Jerry remains critical, he is making small but positive steps toward progress. The doctors continue to ween Jerry off all supports with the goal that over the next 2-4 days, his body is functioning on its own. This will allow them to proceed with surgical intervention, stinting. Jerry will undergo another echo tomorrow or Monday, at that point, we will know more about how his heart is healing.

Keep praying! Specific prayer requests for today:
Be thankful to God for Jerry's progress and that he continue to be protected from complications.
Pray for positive results on the echo.
Pray that the weening process continues to go safely and quickly!
Pray for Jerry's heart muscle to heal from the trauma so he can be stinted.
Continued patience and strength.

Thanks to you all for your continued love, prayers, and support.

Thank you for the updates - we check for them many times a day. We certainly don't want to bother Debbie at this time. Please let her know we are thinking of her and Jerry and if there is anything we can do from Florida just let us know. Chuck & Judy

I have just heard from Rebecca about Jerry's horrible heart attack, and I am concerned and heartsick for all. Please relate to Debbie that my thoughts and assuredly my prayers are with them both. I thank you for the updates, and appreciate the specific prayer requests. Is there an address that cards may be sent to? Marsha Otte

We're thinking of you all the time, and know that everything will work out well. We're looking forward to seeing you both in Florida for more great times.
